UPN Bursary/Scholarship Policy


Psychiatric Nursing Program at Douglas College

Each year the Union will provide two awards of $1,000 each, to members of the immediate family of current, retired or deceased UPN members, who are students in the Psychiatric Nursing program at Douglas College.


Post-diploma Programs in Psychiatric Nursing

Each year the Union will provide an award of $1,000 to a current UPN member who is entering a post-diploma program pertaining to psychiatric nursing in Canada.

If you or a family member are eligible for one of these awards, please apply to the UPN office in writing giving the pertinent details.

If you are aware of a person who may be eligible for one of these awards, would you please pass this information on to them.

Award Recipients

UPN gave $5,000 to the Douglas College Foundation and will be giving $2,000.00 each year beginning in May of 2002.
